Description

This book is more relevant now than in the time it was written.  The principles it promotes are of true liberty, and true liberty can never be attained while the Church seeks to control the State and use the civil power to control the conscience of the citizens.  The unalienable right of liberty must include liberty of conscience.  The shocking scenes of religious persecution from the past should constitute a warning to every lover of true freedom.  We must keep of from the ground of uniting Church and State.
